Staying in the Japanese-Style Deluxe Room with an open-air bath was a highlight, offering unique views and absolute comfort. The kaiseki dinner served in-room was an exquisite experience with gourmet products, showcasing both familiar and new flavors. On the downside, the location involves a bit of a trek to reach main attractions, and the absence of bike rentals limits exploring the charming surroundings. Service was excellent, yet the overall experience felt somewhat hindered by these logistical challenges.

I loved my stay, especially the gorgeous room with tatami mats and the stunning views of the garden. There are great relaxation spots like the public bath and the beautiful massage service to help unwind. Just a heads-up, it would have been nice to have a water cooler in the onsen area.

My renovated room was spacious with a good tatami area. The hospitality was fantastic, especially the friendly staff who really went the extra mile for us. Plus, I loved the serene garden view!
Getting there felt like training for an Olympic event! A taxi or bus is necessary-might as well pack your hiking boots!

Family with children, kind of a mixed bag
Had a warm reception from the staff who were really hospitable and accommodating. The kaiseki dinners were beautifully served and a nice surprise for my taste buds, just like they say, you really can't go wrong with Japanese cuisine.
It wasn't cheap, but the experience felt decent overall.
